Northern Cyprus is recognised as a state by Türkiye alone. It is not a member of the United Nations or the World Bank, and does not appear as a separate entity in the datasets these indicators are drawn from.
Every figure in a Terralore dossier carries the publisher that produced it and the year it refers to. Where no such figure exists we record the gap rather than estimating one — an imputed number is indistinguishable from a sourced one once it is rendered in the same card, and that would make the whole dossier un-citable.
