    Entry into the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes

    After the collapse of Austria-Hungary, the Croatian lands joined Serbia and Montenegro in the new South Slav kingdom proclaimed on 1 December 1918, later renamed Yugoslavia.
