The archive, read across nations

The world, in order

Every chronicle in Terralore is written nation by nation. This is the other axis.

Pick a period and read what was happening everywhere in it — the same verified records, with the same citations, laid side by side across the whole archive. The buckets widen as they go back, because the record does too: decades once the archive thickens after 1800, centuries for the rest of recorded history, millennia before 1000 BCE, and a single page for the deep prehistory of our species, where the record is measured in hundreds of thousands of years rather than reigns.
